A visual-first blog

Pictures should help you understand what happens next.

Photography brings the real place into view. Simple line drawings can make a sequence easier to scan. Picture cards can support a choice. Written words can add detail. None of those replaces AAC, gesture, sign, objects, speech, behavior as communication, or the person’s own established system. The point is to offer more than one usable route into the information.
