A small domestic discovery

Keep the familiar thing. Change the fiddly part.

We wanted to keep the straw where it belonged while using the bottle. Our first try used a small opening in the red cap to hold it in place. We took photographs because it was the sort of little household adjustment we wanted to remember.

What stayed with us was the question behind it: if someone already knows the drink they want, can we make the next step simpler? How a bottle is held, where a straw sits, and how a preference is expressed all belong in an everyday product conversation.

A practical note

For the next drink.

The photographed cap was a one-off experiment, not a product recommendation or a leakproof setup. For repeat use, choose a compatible, food-safe straw lid or a reusable lidded cup; hand-cut plastic can leave sharp edges or loose pieces. Keep reusable parts clean and follow the milk’s refrigeration directions.
