The Nubble is one of those rare very-pretty things that does not require a hike or an admission ticket. You can make the whole visit ten minutes if that is the day you are having.

This is a nearly perfect 'one good thing' stop. The payoff appears immediately. You do not have to earn the view with a long transition, and York has enough small food/treat stops to finish the outing without making it formal.
