A few ways to use it
- Look at the case first. Offer pictures for available choices, and show the actual food when you can.
- Point to pictures as you name them. Leave time for a response in the person’s own way; a point, gesture, look, word, or their usual device may communicate a choice.
- Keep “no,” “something else,” and break choices in reach. Choosing nothing is an answer, too.
- Use familiar words or the person’s own communication system alongside this board. Cover or fold away extra pictures on the printed page if fewer choices work better.
This board shows a choice; it does not place an order. Tapping a card is silent. “Say it” uses your device or browser’s voice service, when supported. Selections are not saved by this page.
