Editorial series
Profoundly awesome.
High support needs can be profound. So can personality, preference, humor, adolescence, delight and the right to be treated like a whole person.
What belongs here
Age-respectful sensory and adaptive products, low-complexity participation, useful technology, easier dressing, food activities, travel and ordinary family-life products that genuinely work for people who need substantial support.
The standard is not “made for autism.” The standard is: does it work, does it respect the person using it, and is it worth bringing into the house?
Representation rule
No cure language. No staged distress. No infantilizing teenagers. No claiming one family speaks for an entire spectrum.
